Terms of service
A plain-language summary of the terms. Questions go to [email protected].
Using the service
- You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it.
- Only connect products and code you have the right to validate.
- Do not use the service to attack, overload, or probe systems you do not own.
What a validation is
- A StackAttest result is technical evidence about production readiness, not a guarantee, a certification, or investment advice.
- A high score does not make software perfect, and we do not accept liability for decisions made on the strength of a result.
- You own your Passport and decide who sees it.
Billing
- Some features run on credits. A repository validation is charged once, and re-running the same product afterwards is free.
- Charges for paid actions are shown before you confirm them.
- Sponsored and granted credits follow the same ledger, and you still approve any change to your own code.
Changes and ending
- We may update the service and these terms, and we will make a reasonable effort to tell you about material changes.
- You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
- We can suspend an account that abuses the service or puts others at risk.
